Florida Georgia Line

The duo—Monroe, Georgia’s Tyler Hubbard and Ormond Beach, Florida’s Brian Kelley—have turned their highly engaging brand of showmanship into opening slots for artists like Jake Owen, Brantley Gilbert and Colt Ford, and into a coveted spot on the 2012 Country Throwdown Tour with the likes of Gary Allan, Rodney Atkins, and Justin Moore.

Now they have captured all the fire and energy of that stage show in a new single, “Cruise,” an infectious anthem to love in its first magic moments. The first offering from their five-song EP It’z Just What We Do, it brings their trademark harmonies and rocking sound to bear on a tale of youthful attraction, music and Georgia back roads. Produced by Joey Moi, whose credits range from Jake Owen to Nickelback, “Cruise” is sure to thrill their old and new fans alike.

Florida Georgia Line has combined electrifying, hard-driving rock with honest, expressive lyrics into one of the most exciting sounds in all of country music. They’ve come a long way since their days as students at Nashville’s Belmont University, where they played local clubs and wrote songs between classes. They drew on an eclectic mix of influences, from country to hip-hop, with one common element: "All of our idols create great music that's real and that everyone can relate to,” says Brian. “That's the same kind of music we want to make.”  It’s music they enjoy making as much as their fans enjoy hearing—and they are appreciative for the rapidly growing fan base supporting them.

"It's such a blessing that we get to do this for a living," says Tyler.

Montgomery Gentry

With a new album, a new label and a renewed sense of musical purpose, Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry are poised to stake their claim as one of country music’s all-time greatest duos.

When the two Kentucky boys—Eddie, is from Lancaster and Troy is from Lexington—first busted onto the national scene in 1999 with the defiant “Hillbilly Shoes” notice was served—country music had never seen a hard driving duo like this.

The duo’s new collection, the aptly titled Rebels On The Run, brings Montgomery Gentry fans back to the beginning, but with a fresh attitude. Produced by Michael Knox, who has helped build Jason Aldean to superstar status, Eddie and Troy’s latest effort will likely be remembered as their best album thus far in their decade-plus history.

Despite the millions of albums sold, the sold out shows and the scores of awards, Montgomery Gentry remains in touch with its working class roots. “We are blue collar workers and we lived the songs that we sing,” says Troy.  “Because of that, our fans are able to make the connection and when they hear our songs, they know we are singing with passion and we know what we are talking about.”

Skillet

Skillet has toured with the likes of Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, Seether and Flyleaf, followed by a solo headlining ranking within Pollstar’s Concert Pulse Top 50 Tours for 2008. Along the way, the Grammy-nominated alternative outfit also scored three top 40 singles on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock charts, earned a pair of BMI Songwriting Awards and released its first ever concert CD/DVD combo pack in support of the season called Comatose Comes Alive.

Aside from the commercial accolades, the Grammy-nominated modern rockers have also achieved an RIAA gold certification, backed by both public adoration and critical praise, making Awake (Atlantic) the band’s most acclaimed album to date. Not only does Skillet continue in the tradition of bone crunching rockers and melodic power ballads that comprised the last trip to the studio, but there’s a noticeable evolution sure to connect with longtime listeners and open the floodgates of its fan base even further than ever before.

Finger Eleven

After five albums and countless tours, Finger Eleven has made their big rock record.  It’s loud, powerful and fast.  It’s the album they’ve waited their entire career to make.

Life Turns Electric is the sound of Finger Eleven’s pedal to the proverbial metal.  They fly past state troopers and speed traps.  They barrel headlong into the future but take a scenic route through the dusty roads of the ‘70s to get there.  There’s nothing retro about it, but you can hear how they’ve inhaled the fumes of Classic Rock.  This is the sound of a band blasting forward and having a blast while doing so.  The guitars are back, the melodies are strong and instantly memorable, branding the lyrics on your brain the very first time you hear them.

“Some bands get confident and coast,” says Scott.  “They might put out the first 10 ideas they think of and that isn’t what happened here.“  It’s true.  Finger Eleven grew confident through fan support and belief in their music and instead of coasting, they’re simply more confident with their craft.  On Life Turns Electric, that fact is clear.  They didn’t just put out the first ten jams they came up with – they put out ten of the best songs they’ve ever written.

Phil Vassar

Phil Vassar’s unbounded energy and limitless talent have proven him, again and again, as one of Nashville’s most prolific and versatile stars.  Those who best understand Phil Vassar – good-time, piano playing, boundless energy on stage, hardest-working-man-in-the business– also understand the ongoing evolution of his original music.

This Virginia-born songwriter and musician has undoubtedly made his mark in Nashville as an acclaimed artist.  Phil’s known not only for his gift for hit songwriting, but also for his compelling and highly entertaining skills on the piano.  His uniquely piano-based, rhythm and blues-infused, infectiously buoyant brand of music has carried Phil throughout his career and remains his specialty in the genre.

His resume boasts numerous hits for artists including Alan Jackson, Tim McGraw, Jo Dee Messina, and Collin Raye, and many more hits as an artist in his own right. He’s been named the ASCAP Songwriter of the Year twice and has taken top honors from the Academy of Country Music, Billboard MusicRow, and also honored by the CMA’s.  Some of Phil’s accolades include two time ASCAP Songwriter of the Year, Billboard Magazine Top New Country Artist, Billboard Country Songwriter of the Year, Music Row Magazine Breakthrough Artist of the Year, and ACM Top New Male Vocalist of the Year and Song of The Year- just to name a few.
