Janet Hartford - Chairperson

Janet Hartford - Chairperson

Janet is currently enjoying retirement with fold memories as the longtime director of the Green River Chamber of Commerce. She's a native of Green River and has been active on both the city, county and state level. Janet is a horse enthusiast and is passionate about BLM Wild Horses. She's active with the Mustang Versatility Club as well as Sweetwater Ranch Sorting. She was appointed to the fair board in January of 2016.
Rob Zotti - Vice Chairperson

Rob Zotti - Vice Chairperson

Rob is the branch manager of Wyoming Financial Insurance in Rock Springs and travels throughout the state as a Commercial Lines Agent. He's a Rock Springs native and is currently serving his third term on the Rock Springs City Council. Rob and his wife have two young children that are active in baseball, soccer and other activities held around our community. Rob served on the Fair Board from 2004 to 2011 and joined the board again in 2014.
Tommy Thoman - Secretary/Treasurer

Tommy Thoman - Secretary/Treasurer

Tommy Thoman is a lifetime Sweetwater County Resident and has deep roots in agriculture. He is a graduate of the University of Wyoming and is an engineer for Union Wireless in Mountain View. He and his wife Liz are huge supporters of 4-H and FFA and have been involved with the county fair for years. Tommy also serves as the chairman of the Sweetwater County Youth Livestock Auction Committee. He was appointed to the fair board in 2021.
Koral Hueller

Koral Hueller

Koral is a lifelong resident of Sweetwater County. Hueller is a counselor at Rock Springs Junior High School and has worked for Sweetwater School District No. 1 for many years. She is chair of the mental health department and serves on two district committees. She is familiar with the events held at Sweetwater Events Complex and the logistical work that comes with running the county’s event complex. She was appointed to the fair board in January of 2022.
Mark Lyon

Mark Lyon

Mark Lyon was born and raised in Sweetwater County. He moved to Arizona for a extended period as an adult and came back with a desire to make Rock Springs and Sweetwater County a better place. Mark currently works as the Parks Superintendent for the City of Rock Springs. He's community minded and enjoys donating his time making Sweetwater County a better place. Mark was appointed to the fair board in 2024.
Chris Meats

Chris Meats

Chris is the Director of Finance for the City of Green River and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). A key aspect of Chris’s passion for this role is his dedication to youth development, especially through programs like 4-H. As a key leader in the Sweetwater County 4-H Shooting Sports program, Chris has made a meaningful impact by helping local youth develop critical skills and build confidence.
Robert Spicer

Robert Spicer

Robert (Bob) Spicer has been a long time supporter of the events complex and everything that goes on here. From 4-H to motocross he has been involved on some level. Bob is recently retired from Western Wyoming Beverages but plans on remaining active in our community. Bob's family started as sheep ranchers in southwest Wyoming. Bob was appointed to the fair board in 2018.
Donald Pallesen - Daggett County Representative

Donald Pallesen - Daggett County Representative

Donald is a full time rancher from Manila, Utah and was appointed as the liaison to the fair board by the Daggett County Commissioners. Donald and his wife own Pallesen Hereford Ranch and are extremely active in the agriculture industry. Donald has an extensive background with 4-H and rodeo and has served as the 4-H & Open Class Beef Superintendent at the Sweetwater County Fair for many years. He and his family participate in both livestock shows and rodeos around the region.
